Privacy.

• Your brief: the things you picked, your story, the size, and the price.
• Your name and email, to reach you about your order.
• Photos you send as a reference for drawing.
• Your choices: whether we may show the finished doodle publicly, and when you confirmed the people in your photos agreed.
• Our WhatsApp chat, on WhatsApp itself.
• A scrambled version of your internet address, for 2 days, only to stop anyone flooding the site with uploads or fake orders. It can’t be turned back into your address.

That’s all. No accounts, no advertising trackers, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.

Only to draw your doodle, deliver it, and keep the records any business has to. The one other use, showing your finished doodle publicly, happens only if you said yes.

• Before a photo leaves your phone, we shrink it and remove its location data.
• It’s stored privately, in Mumbai. It has no public link. Only Devika and Puneet, signed in to our studio, can see it.
• If you add a photo but don’t place an order, it’s deleted within 24 hours.
• Once your doodle is delivered, or the order is cancelled, the photos are deleted after 45 days. That covers fixing anything we got wrong, and no longer.

Photos of children should be sent by a parent or with a parent’s permission.

We use a few services to run the shop, and they hold data only to provide that service to us:

• Vercel: runs this website and stores the photos (in Mumbai).
• Neon: the database where orders are kept.
• WhatsApp (Meta): our chats with you.

Photos: as above. Your order record (brief, name, email, price) we keep as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires business records to be kept, and no longer.

Your browser also remembers your brief while you’re filling it in, so a reload doesn’t lose it. That stays on your phone and is cleared when you place the order.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you,
• correct it,
• delete it, except what the law makes us keep,
• take your doodle down if you’d agreed to us showing it,
• and hear a complaint about how we’ve handled your data.

Message us below. We’ll reply within 7 days. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
